OUR

STORY

Shay & Sinista - Two brothers from the West Midlands who started off DJ'ing at just 16 years old playing at house parties and back-room events, they have certainly come a long way.

Music has always been their passion and you can tell that not only from the music that they produce, but from their live DJ sets.

Their love of DJ'ing and music took a natural progression into music production in 2010 with the release of 'Musiek' which was picked up by DJ Pioneer and was made his  'Triple P' track of the month on Kiss FM. This track was later signed by 'Soupu Music' and from that point on came a raft of releases which were heavily supported by some of the biggest DJ names in the scene and played on Radio Stations such as BBC Radio 1, 1xtra and Rinse FM.

In 2012 they remixed 'Havin It Large' ft. MC Shantie which was released on the legendary UK Garage Label - Ice Cream Records. In 2013 things really stepped up a gear when they were signed by Mark Radfords massive record label 'Audio Rehab' and released their debut EP 'The Getdown EP', and shortly after appearing on his two huge compilation albums and playing at the Audio Rehab nights at the world famous Ministry of Sound Club in London.

In 2015 Shay & Sinista launched their own record label 'Cube Music' and released their first track 'For Me' which was charted on Beatport and received massive support both in the clubs and on-air.

Other releases on labels such as Apex Level Recordings, MFR Records and Open House Records have kept the lads very busy.

In between the music producing and guest shows on radio, the brothers have been DJ'ing consistently up and down the country at events big and small and continue to be in-demand.

And so the story continues...
